Rod & Shino

category: friends

Shino was a student of mine more than 10 yrs ago and I hadn't seen her for about that long. I bumped into another one of my old students in the station not too long ago which brought me back in contact with the gang. Shino got married to Rod and they had a party in the New Otani tonight. It was really nice to see everyone after so many years.

MinMin Gyoza

We just wanted to go for a drive somewhere and since there was 3 of us, my roadster was out. So we rented this Nissan March and went all the way up to Utsunomiya just to eat Gyoza.

Driving the March was rather dull and I got bored after about an hour. I'm glad I got a manual.

We parked across from the "MinMin" which already had a long queue. Not a very impressive shop considering it's the most famous one in all of Tochigi prefecture.

We waited for a while before our orders showed up. When it arrived, the gyoza tasted...well..nothing special.

Driving around Utsunomiya, I saw this Pikachu gravestone..too cool!

Scratch

Being a new driver and all, I knew it was only a matter of time before I scratched my car, but I didn't think it would be so soon! Not even 2 weeks old! Shit! I was backing into a tight spot in a ¥100 parking lot and my left front fender just caught this short brick wall which I could not see.
