Fire!

I can home today to find these firetrucks in my parking lot. Looked around to find the fire just around the block. There are some streets in Tokyo where not even a bicycle can pass let alone a firetruck. My car was getting the clutch shudder fixed so it wasn't in the lot.

Giant Cactus

I saw this giant cactus in Negishi of all places. Must have been 100 years old.

Bandai Museum in Chiba

I heard there was a life-size Gundam at the new Bandai Museum so of course I had to go see it. It's out in Matsudo, Chiba. God only knows why they built it out there in the middle of the dreary suburbs.

Not very easy to find, just an inconspicuous sign above the entrance to what looked like a game center.

Inside, a huge Zaku head, and the life sized Gundam! but only the top half..

There was a Gundam Cafe on the top floor, other than the name and some pictures on the wall, there wasn't anything "Gundam" about this cafe. The Char and Sera silhouettes on the mens and womens rest rooms was a nice touch. Other than that, I wasn't too impressed. I doubt if I'd visit it again...
