Hokkaido

I visited Hokkaido for the first time.

The snow festival hadn't begun yet, but I watched the Self-Defense Forces build the sculptures. Apparently, they make all the sculptures for the festival. This year I heard there weren't as many since they were shipping them to Iraq.

In Otaru, I saw a crab, the sign says not to eat it. And also this My Melody snow sculpture.

Hokkaido is famous for "Genghis kan" which is like Yakiniku with Mutton/Lamb. It smells really bad. This pic on left is the famous shop "Daruma". Took me 3 days to get the stink out of my clothes. Right, "Miso Ra-men" look at that chunk of butter!!.

Super Autobacs

Return of the King

I got tickets to the Premiere of
LORD of the RINGS - Return of the King!

Thanks to my good friend at Fuji TV.
Its the first showing in Japan,
but everyone else in the world has already seen it.
